With effect from 1st October 2007 mail order of air weapons and certain accessories will be banned in the UK. However there is hope to keep the UK airgun business alive. The RFD Network is a network of registered firearms dealers in all parts of the UK who are happy for you to have your mail order items sent to them for you to collect. For this project to work we need as many RFD's to register with us so their names and contact details can be added to this website.

This service is completely legal and acceptable within the terms of the VCR Bill. Potential mail order customers can help us too. Simply click here to open our letter to RFD's, print it out and take it to your local gun shop and ask them to register with us.

 
This is a FREE service and will benefit everyone in the UK airgun industry.

Example of how it works

• You want to order a new air rifle from a distant shop but it is too far to drive to collect it.

• Contact your nearest RFD listed on the RFD Network and ask them to accept the rifle for you. Give them your name and contact details and agree a price for the service.

• Order your rifle from the distant dealer and have it shipped to your local RFD.

• Collect your rifle from your local RFD, fill in the log book and pay the agreed transfer fee.

It really is as simple at that! Firearms dealers already use this service to transfer firearms and shotguns so they are already familiar with how it works.
