10th June 2008

• Gnasher rises from the ashes! Su's Mini 25 (Gnasher) is now running after several years off the road. Just a few problems to iron out now with the electrics and fuel lines then he will be ready for the MoT. We got it running tonight after fitting the new starter motor that we bought at Beauleiu. More soon.

8th June 2008

• This years Beauleiu Mini day was a great day out for all involved. Five Mini's drove down in convoy with Su bringing up the rear in the support vehicle. It was a wonderful drive down through the New Forest with ponies and foals everywhere, including in the middle of the road! The day was very warm and we all huddled in the shade of one gazebo as Jon forgot to pack the second one, it was very cosy. The morning got off to a good start with the club stand set up quickly and Su doing a grand job of cooking everyone bacon and sausage butties. Once again it was the usual few members who attended, it would be nice to have more support from the rest of the members. I have been a member of the club for several months now and have only met a few of the members so come on everyone join in and have fun. Pictures here.

10th May 2008

• We had our first club run out of 2008 on Friday 9th May to the Poole Quay For My Car Mini night. The run down to Poole began at Morrison's in Weymouth with more members joining the convoy along the way. There were loads of Mini's there and the weather was kind but unfortunately there was not much room due to all of the BMW 1/2 Series' each taking up two parking spaces. We had lots of people interested in the Mouth 2 Mouth run and gave away loads of club fliers so hopefully we'll have more members soon. Please click here to see pictures of the night.
